Dial Assist (Meet-Me or Dial Out)

If you require an operator to enter your participants into a conference call, then an Operator-Assisted call is the appropriate option. A Meet-Me call allows participants to dial into the call via a toll free or local phone number and be entered by the operator. A Dial Out conference call is executed by having the operator dial a list of participants and enter them into the call.

 

Participant Entry
Participants can be placed on hold with music prior to the call or can be entered directly by the operator. Participant entry can be announced by the operator, signified with a tone, or done silently. The call leader can be added first or last, depending on your call objective.

Roll Call
If you want a formal beginning to your conference call, you can have the operator conduct a roll call.

User-Controlled Features
The following are features available to you by using the keys on the telephone keypad.

*6 Mute or unmute your line
*5 Mute all lines except the leader
*7 Lock the conference call.

Special Services

Conference Calls Special Services Conference Calls are appropriate when the personalized attention of the operator is needed throughout the conference call. Large conference calls or those that require specific and structured feedback from participants are ideal candidates for special services.

Participants are connected to the call via an operator through a Meet-Me or Dial Out procedure. In addition to all of the features available on a regular operator-assisted call, special service conference calls include:

 

Question and Answer (Q&A)
Participants' lines are muted during the conference call. During a predetermined point in the call, participants can signal that they have a question. The operator will unmute the individual line of the participant, allow them to ask their question, and then remute the line.

Polling
You can take a survey or "poll" of the conference participants by asking them to record their answers to a multiple-choice question by hitting a key on the telephone keypad. The responses are recorded by individual participant, and are available at the conclusion of the call.

Call Taping
We will tape your call directly from the conference bridge and can provide you an audiocassette tape of your conference call either via regular mail or overnight delivery.

Digital Replay
You can digitally record your conference and allow anyone who was not in attendance on the call to dial back in at his or her convenience and listen to a playback of the conference.

Operator Monitoring
An operator can stay on-line during the entire conference call and assist in moderating the call.

Participant List
At the conclusion of your call, a list of all participants can be faxed or emailed.
