AS
THE LEADER OF A WEB CONFERENCE, you can
Start
a Web Conference NOW... click ExpressNet
Use this service to present a PowerPoint document along
with your audio call. (no reservation needed as long as the
audio portion of the call uses less than 126 lines and no
more than 2000 people are logged in the web portion of the
call):
- Sign
in as the Moderator with your Conference ID and PIN number
- Instruct
your Participants to sign in with your Conference ID, their
name, and their e-mail address.
- Participants
may interact over the phone or listen via the Internet.
If they listen via the Internet, the audio portion of the
call will be streamed over their computer speakers. In order
to allow this, you will need to select the Live Webcast
option on your screen. You may also select Recorded Webcast/option
if you would like your event to be available for later listening/viewing.
Select "Begin Recording" and wait for the tone
to start your live or recorded Webcast.

Use this service for full desktop / application
sharing, plus many more features.
(No reservation needed as long as there are less than 20 participants):
- Select
"Moderator Login" from the top margin menu
- Sign
in as the Moderator with your Conference ID and PIN number
- Click
"Continue"
- Instruct
your Participants to sign in with your Conference ID preceded
by an X, once you have started an event, they can sign in
using that specific event number (located in the lower left
quadrart of your moderator screen)
Prepare
for future Conferencing events
- Determine
if ExpressNet or WebCollaboration is most
appropriate for your event
- ExpressNet
is ideal for sharing PowerPoint presentations. It allows
Participants the option of listening and sending questions
over the Web. It allows the Moderator to control the
audio call from the Web and view information regarding
who is on the call. It also provides a syncharnized
audio+web recording option.
- WebCollaboration
is ideal for impromptu sharing all other desktop applications,
web touring, participant polling, whiteboarding and
many other interactive needs. These events can also
be recorded.
- WebCollaberation
is also ideal for more formal events requiring advanced
registration , attendee approvals or automatic reminder
emails. Use the following links from your WebCollaberation
moderator menu to setup and manage a more formal event:
"Schedule Events", "Define Seminar Materials",
"Process Registration Requests", "Manage
Guest Lists."
- Upload
any PowerPoint documents that you might want to present
during a conference call. Sign in as the moderator and follow
the simple instructions.
- Advance
uploading is required with ExpressNet
- Advance
uploading is optional with WebCollaboration but
is necessary to activate the highlighting features and
pointer.
- For
ExpressNet Conferences that might use over 125 telephone
lines or 2000 logins, WebCollaboration events that
might include over 20 participants or other specialized
conferencing services, complete a Reservation
Request Form or call your ExpressConnect Account
Representative.

Follow-up
on previous Conferencing events
- To
Access Recorded Events:
- Click
ExpressNet
(and sign in as the moderator. Click "Recorded Confrences)
to access the links to the integrated audio and web conferences
recorded as Webcasts (Real Player required). Email the links
as desired.
- Click
WebCollaboration
and then "Recorded Events" to access links to
collaboration events recorded as Webcasts (Real Player required).
You will be prompted for a user ID and Password. For the
moderator, that is the conference ID and PIN. Instruct new
participants to select a user ID and Passwordby clicking
on "Setup Account", or the moderator can simply
e-mail the link to the recorded conference to the desired
participants.
- To
Access Conference Reports:
- Click
ExpressNet
and sign in as the moderator. Select "Reports"
from the left margin menu and follow the instructions.
- Click
WebCollaboration,
"Moderator Login" and sign in. Select "Reports"
from the moderator menu and follow the instructions.
- Within
the reports, click the Billing Code link (upper right) to
enter or change a billing code.
